Rene L., Office ManagerIMG_1418
Years in Practice: 13
Education: Bachelor of Science

I am also a graduate of MSU but in the field of Fisheries and Wildlife. Before coming to Richmond Veterinary Hospital in 2009 I spent 7 years with our “big sister” hospital Wilson Veterinary. Outside of work I can be found reading, biking, remodeling my house, and spending time with my 2 dogs, 3 cats, Cockatiel and husband. Yes, we all get along with each other! If you have a question or need something ordered, I’m always happy to help.

Michelle H., Technicianmichelle

I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2005 but I have been working in the veterinary field for 10 years. My free time is spent taking care of my chickens and changing our house in Allenton. I also enjoy playing ice hockey and spending time with my husband and the cats Tigger, Abby, and Bubba.

Anita C., Receptionist/Assistantanita

Anita’s love of animals led her to the veterinary field in 1995. She is currently part of our front desk team but loves to help out wherever needed. During her career she has been part of the kennel team and has assisted doctors as well. Working in the veterinary field has been a rewarding experience and she wouldn’t live her life any other way. Anita has a certain affection for Labrador Retrievers. She and her husband have one of their own who fills their lives with much happiness. Anita is one of our most compassionate workers and impresses us with her great memory for faces, names, and dates.

Casanova “Nova”, Clinic Catnova

As the hospital cat, it is my duty to play with the friendly pets that come in and be scratched by all clients. I’ve been enjoying my home here at Richmond Veterinary Hospital since 2009 after having a rough start. On a normal work day you’ll see me playing or sleeping in the lobby area (a hard work day). My favorite toy is a stuffed mouse and if you are lucky I will share it with you. Please say hi to me!
